Max Heather

Paralegal

"Pressure demands precision"

Prior to joining Holborn Adams, Max worked at the Crown Prosecution Service for several years as both a paralegal and court manager in the Crown Court Unit. During his time there, he gained first-hand experience working on complex cases, including sexual offences, murder and organised crime. Max worked closely alongside counsel, police and other criminal justice agencies, giving him a familiar understanding of their processes.

His time at the CPS gave him an invaluable understanding of how prosecution cases are built and assessed. Moving into defence has allowed him to bring that experience to the other side of the process, approaching the evidence with a critical eye and an understanding that the detail behind a case can be just as important as the case presented on paper.

Max has an undergraduate degree in Law from De Montfort University. Outside of work, you can find Max either halfway up a mountain or with his face pressed against the glass of the nearest sports car. He is also is rarely short of a score to keep an eye on; an enthusiastic (and often unenthusiastic) fan of Manchester United, New England Patriots and Boston Bruins, amongst others.
