Adam was one of the youngest lawyers in law society history to establish a law firm within the first year of being newly qualified as a solicitor. He had to present/argue his case to open a law firm (earlier than the 36 month prescribed period) to the Law Society. As a result of presenting his ideas on pioneering pre charge and pro active criminal defence, the law society passed a waiver to permit him to have his own practice before the three year period. His opening of a law firm was supported by Judges, Managing Partners and references from worldwide entrepreneurs.
He has now been running Holborn Adams exclusively for ten years. That is a decade in strict private practice only and pre charge defence.
He has extensive worldwide international criminal defence experience in over 42 countries.

Adam has a huge history in criminal and sports law spanning over twenty years (the last ten running his own exclusively private practice), including periods with some of the largest international law firms in the world, such as DLA Piper (magic circle).

Rape, Sexual Assault, and Sexual Activity with a Child Under 13 - No Further Action
Holborn Adams successfully represented a client under investigation for serious allegations including sexual assault, rape, and sexual activity with a child under 13. These life-altering charges were met with immediate and robust legal intervention. As a result of comprehensive legal representations following the police station interview, the case was discontinued, and the client faced no further action.
Threats to Disclose Private Images & Criminal Damage – Community Order Secured Despite Custody Threshold
Holborn Adams successfully represented a client facing serious allegations at the Magistrates’ Court, including threatening to cause criminal damage and threats to disclose a sexual private image. Despite the case crossing the custody threshold, the client received a low-level community order at sentencing. Following robust legal argument, a third charge of criminal damage was withdrawn by the prosecution after successful representations at court.
Fraud - Acquittal
In this high-profile fraud case, Holborn Adams represented a client facing serious allegations of fraudulent activities. The prosecution alleged that the client had engaged in deceptive practices, which resulted in significant financial implications for various stakeholders. Our rigorous preparation and strategic approach ultimately culminated in a trial where the jury carefully evaluated the presented evidence and arguments. After thorough deliberation, the jury returned a verdict of not guilty, exonerating our client and allowing them to resume their professional and personal life without the stain of criminal charges.
