Being in Charge of a Dog Dangerously Out of Control Causing Injury – 12-Month Community Order
Holborn Adams represented a client accused of being in charge of a dog dangerously out of control which caused injury. This is a serious offence that can often result in custody, disqualification from owning dogs, or the destruction of the animal. Following formidable representation at the Magistrates’ Court, we successfully avoided a custodial sentence. Instead, the court imposed a 12-month community order - a significantly more lenient outcome than what could have been expected.
Witness Intimidation & Contempt of Court – No Further Action
Holborn Adams represented a client accused of witness intimidation and contempt of court. The matter was particularly sensitive due to the alleged attempt to interfere with ongoing legal proceedings. Following exceptional representation by the legal team during the police station interview, the authorities concluded there was insufficient evidence to proceed.
