Fay has over thirteen years of experience working within the Criminal Law sector. She previously managed a case load of Crown Court matters ranging from burglary through to serious frauds and multi handed homicides. She is also experienced in representing clients at adjudication hearings within a prison setting.
Fay had a career break to pursue an ambition breeding racehorses. After much success, she has returned to criminal law where her passion lies.
With a track record for success, Fay is motivated and professional. She possesses a single minded approach to her client’s interest whilst being totally committed to every case. Racially Aggravated Offence – Conditional Discharge Secured
Holborn Adams represented a client at the Crown Court in relation to a racially aggravated public order offence. At the initial hearing, the defence successfully negotiated a basis of plea with the prosecution. The case proceeded directly to sentencing, where the court imposed a 4-month conditional discharge. Compensation and costs were also ordered.
Local Authority Private Prosecution - Withdrawn
Holborn Adams successfully represented a client in relation to a private prosecution initiated by a large Local Authority. After making strong legal representations on the client’s behalf, the Local Authority withdrew the proceedings and instead offered an out of court disposal, bringing the matter to a favourable and discreet resolution.
Fraud - Acquittal
In this high-profile fraud case, Holborn Adams represented a client facing serious allegations of fraudulent activities. The prosecution alleged that the client had engaged in deceptive practices, which resulted in significant financial implications for various stakeholders. Our rigorous preparation and strategic approach ultimately culminated in a trial where the jury carefully evaluated the presented evidence and arguments. After thorough deliberation, the jury returned a verdict of not guilty, exonerating our client and allowing them to resume their professional and personal life without the stain of criminal charges.
