As I was saying last night, I was very impressed Holborn Adams and the way he helped me. The solicitor turned up and knew his stuff right away. He was visibly annoyed that I got arrested and he said to me that “he will sort this and I’ve got your back”, it meant a lot as I believed him. He was persistent in challenging the arresting officer to which when were alone the arresting officer said “I'm not happy putting my name to this arrest” , he then went to try and get it overturned before coming back unsuccessfully but again reiterated to me that I should stick with my solicitor and listen to him as “ I have a good one out there”. He said he had seen loads in his 20 years and he would want my solicitor representing him! He was really good in the interview, argued our case well and was keen to get a resolution on the day, which unfortunately he couldn’t. He built a good bond with the interviewing officer which had she been able to make a decision for us, I think would have been favourable I was really impressed with how much he cared, I genuinely felt that he was there looking after me. I just hope he can finish it off now for me!
