After a serious allegation was made, I instructed Holborn Adams who made the experience the least stressful it could be and the personal touch from the case manager, answering all my questions was phenomenal. Our lives were turned upside down when my son received through the post a letter to advise he had been charged with assault on a police officer. As I was saying last night, I was very impressed Holborn Adams and the way he helped me. The solicitor turned up and knew his stuff right away. He was visibly annoyed that I got arrested and he said to me that “he will sort this and I’ve got your back”, it meant a lot as I believed him. He was persistent in challenging the arresting officer to which when were alone the arresting officer said “I'm not happy putting my name to this arrest” , he then went to try and get it overturned before coming back unsuccessfully but again reiterated to me that I should stick with my solicitor and listen to him as “ I have a good one out there”. He said he had seen loads in his 20 years and he would want my solicitor representing him!  He was really good in the interview, argued our case well and was keen to get a resolution on the day, which unfortunately he couldn’t. He built a good bond with the interviewing officer which had she been able to make a decision for us, I think would have been favourable I was really impressed with how much he cared, I genuinely felt that he was there looking after me.  I just hope he can finish it off now for me!

I would like to take this opportunity to praise and acknowledge Ara’s support, kindness, empathy and knowledge during the time that my husband engaged with your services, just prior to his plea through to sentencing.

Ara has been consistent and thorough during this process and has taken time to support me as the secondary victim in this matter. I had the unfortunate experience of being accused of something that I didn’t do, I had never had an issue with the police before and the whole experience was daunting and sent me to a dark place and I felt lost.
